What are the logistics for handling a container delivery?

Containers are usually delivered to one of 2 ports - Felixstowe or Dublin then delivered to the dealer’s warehouse by road transport which is all included within the price.

You will be asked to agree a suitable delivery time and date.

You will be notified by email the ships name and its estimated time of arrival (ETA).

You are notified when the container actually arrives into port.

Shipping can be delayed due to weather conditions and you will be notified of any unforeseen, subsequent changes however this is extremely rare and in normal circumstances only adds 2-3 days to the sailing.

Up to 4 days free storage at the port is allowed. After this a cost of £100.00 per day will be incurred.

From date of order to delivery to the dealer is typically 8 weeks.

Delivery to Dublin Port is subject to a €300.00 surcharge. 3 hours per container is allowed for unloading, thereafter a £90.00 per hour charge is applicable.
