Who is this site for?
You can only purchase from this site if you are a legitimate office furniture dealer. Members of the public will not be able to purchase office furniture here.
What is ex-stock price?
Ex-stock price is for dealers wishing to buy from our West Yorkshire warehouse. Orders with a value of less than £350.00 ex. VAT will be accepted but placed on hold. You will need to place additional orders to bring your cumulative order total to over £350.00 ex. VAT, at which point all of your outstanding orders will then be processed and despatched together. Items will be delivered to dealer's premises by our own transport.
What is factory price?
Factory price represents the best price possible for purchasing furniture by ordering 40’ high cube containers direct from the factory. It means our UK warehouse does not handle the stock at all and you make the saving reflecting our reduced overheads. Select ‘container’ to purchase by this method.
How do I choose which method to use?
You may pick either method, and switch at any time between them. In this case you can explore which method best suits your purposes. Pricing is shown as a total for both methods in order to make a comparison easier.
How will I know how much I need to buy in order to fill a container?
The container appears as a graphic and shows how much space you have used as you go along. If you find you do not wish to buy enough to fill the container, simply switch to the basket ex-stock method at any point. A container holds up to 67m cu which for example is 153 radial workstations with desk high pedestals.
What are the payment terms when ordering by the container?
Terms are 30% with order. The balance is payable when the container leaves the factory
Ex-stock customers can apply to open an account by emailing the office but initial orders are on a pro forma basis.
What are the logistics for handling a container delivery?
Containers are usually delivered to one of 2 ports - Felixstowe or Dublin then delivered to the dealer’s warehouse by road transport which is all included within the price.
You will be asked to agree a suitable delivery time and date.
You will be notified by email the ships name and its estimated time of arrival (ETA).
You are notified when the container actually arrives into port.
Shipping can be delayed due to weather conditions and you will be notified of any unforeseen, subsequent changes however this is extremely rare and in normal circumstances only adds 2-3 days to the sailing.
Up to 4 days free storage at the port is allowed. After this a cost of £100.00 per day will be incurred.
From date of order to delivery to the dealer is typically 8 weeks.
Delivery to Dublin Port is subject to a €300.00 surcharge. 3 hours per container is allowed for unloading, thereafter a £90.00 per hour charge is applicable.
